Kenowa Hills, Mich. — When a college is recruiting a future student-athlete, timing can be everything. For Bowling Green, that was the case in its pursuit of Justin Ford. The Kenowa Hills High School senior has verbally committed to BGSU according to the Grand Rapids Press.

Justin Ford is a senior for the Knights.
Ford was being pursued by a handful of Mid-American Conference schools, most notably Bowling Green and Toledo, according to RocketDigest.com. However, Bowling Green was the only school that made Ford a formal offer, making his decision easier.
The Knights senior is a 6-foot-1, 196-pound two-way player at Kenowa Hills. On defense, he plays both linebacker and safety. Offensively, he has played as both a wide receiver and running back.
The Grand Rapids Press report says that he will play safety at Bowling Green.
