Basketball: Tillman Signs In France

Former Ohio player Jerome Tillman has signed a contract to play with Chalon sur Saone.

Athens — Over the past four years, Jerome Tillman dazzled the fans in Southeastern Ohio. Now, he's going to try and do the same thing in France.

Tillman, a two-time all-conference selection, has signed a contract to play with Chalon sur Saone of the French Pro A league.
The Beavercreek, Ohio product averaged 17.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game for Ohio last season. Tillman finished his OU career with 1,635 points, which was the eighth best in school history. He also had 860 rebounds.
Tillman becomes the third Bobcat to sign a pro deal in the past two seasons. Last season, Leon Williams signed a contract with Pinar Karsiyaka of the Turkish Basketball League and Bubba Walther joined ZZ Leiden of the Dutch Eredivisie.
Chalon sur Saone also signed former Michigan State star Drew Neitzel.
