TOLEDO –
One of the ACC's most storied football teams will crash into the Glass Bowl in 2015. The University of Toledo announced on Monday that the Miami Hurricanes have agreed to play a home-and-home series with the Rockets.

On Sept. 5, 2015, Miami will play at UT. One year later, on Sept. 3, 2016, the Rockets will return the favor and travel to south Florida to play in Sun Life Stadium.

“I'm excited that we are adding the Miami Hurricanes to our schedule,” UT coach Tim Beckman said. “This will be a great series for our future Rockets and fans to look forward to.”

Toledo has met up with Miami once before, a 24-14 loss to the Hurricanes on Nov. 21, 1987. At that time, Miami was ranked No. 3 in the nation by both the AP and UPI.

Also scheduled to play the Rockets in 2015 are Iowa State and Navy. Toledo will play ISU in the Glass Bowl and travel to Annapolis, Md. to play the Midshipmen.
