TOLEDO — Miami advanced to the Mid-American Conference Tournament semifinals with a 3-0 sweep of Bowling Green.
The RedHawks held off Bowling Green in each of the first two games in close matches. In the first game, Miami edged the Falcons 25-22 before taking the second set 25-23. Miami advanced with the sweep by downing BGSU 25-20 in the third and final frame.
Miami went 3-0 against Bowling Green this season, winning the three matches by a combined score of 9-1.
The Falcons end the year with a 13-20 record and going 5-11 in the MAC.
